I know that some of you have made 3D parts already and I'm lucky in that my day job is working in CAD and making 3D models, I also have access to two 3D printers (and soon a CNC milling machine), so I can make some cool* items.

* subject to opinion

Which is why I want to ask for an opinion on the following ... a red ring around the lug nut cover!

My 3 is already red and I am wondering if this would make it too boy racer looking, and yes, I know the center cap is missing ;)

I might print out another 5 and take a full side view if there is enough "yes" votes.

I voted take them off, but will admit things like this are in the eye of the beholder. If you like them more power to the customization and making it your own.

I was originally going to make the lug nut covers themselves and have them red but this turned out instead.
