As an old (chronological only) early adaptor, I am concerned about entry access in the Model 3. Just entered a Model S for the first time and found it very tight. With bad arthritis, I could not comfortably enter the driver side. My primary reasons for buying are 1) being able to drive as my reflexes decline and 2) energy conservation for my great grand kids.

I just put about 75 miles on a Model S tonight. It is a bit tight, which is odd for such a big car. I think there are some quirks and design flaws and I am hopeful they have been worked out with Model 3.

Welcome to the forum, @Dealmkr !
        Great motivation drivers! ;)

As for your concern, you'll get a chance to try it out in a Store soon, being in CA! I think I remember that someone said Model ≡ is (just a little...) higher than the S, so I truly hope it works for ya!! :rainbow:

The thing that stood out to me getting in/out of the S is the A pillar being right where my head wanted to be. Coming from my car, no other car should feel like it’s tighter getting in/out of, but the huge S did. (10 or 12 years ago had a Pacifica rental with similar A pillar angles/positions and after about the third time I banged my head I swore off ever considering a Chrysler.)
Since the 3 has a different cabin positioning, it should feel different that the S, but hopefully in a positive way.

You aren't dealmaker Monty Hall are you? Monty, pick door number 3, "It's a new caaaaaaar!" then drive over to the nearest Tesla showroom on July 29 and wear something goofy like put a yellow ferret on your head, a big pillow under your shirt, a big red tie, and hold a golf putter. Then sit in your new car and say "Let's Make a Deal." If the car doesn't fit, you must acquit. There will be plenty of time to try the car for fit before you have to confirm your order, even as a first day reservationist. I hope the car provides easy access for both you and me. I am getting the car anyway, even if they have to strap me onto the roof of the car in my rocker, Beverly Hillbillies style!

MONTY HALL??? Instead of a M3, you may need a senior bus pass.
