So I have been thinking and thanks to teslainventory.com you get a good overview.
There are a lot more useful Teslas in Norway than for example here in Austria for a really lot cheaper price with full CPO warranty.

Now the question is: Will Tesla allow you to buy there and still have warranty?

Norway isn't in the EU. We in Finland regularly have this discussion as we're just across the border, and come to the conclusion that the price in Norway would have to be really cheap to justify buying the car, because you have to pay for VAT, car tax and customs to get the car imported to EU. In practice it's just not worth it - Germany is a far better place to import cars. Your mileage may vary though; taxation may be different in Austria.

Remember also that the Norwegian Teslas are built in Fremont, USA unlike EU Teslas which are assembled in Tilburg, NL. This may mean different tax treatment.

And all this before even thinking about warranty issues :-/

I did not know that the Norway Teslas are not made in Tilburg, wow.
I know Norway is not in the EU, but as far as I heard there is a ruling for many things import/export between Norway and the EU (similar to Switzerland).
But yes warranty might be another issue...
You are right that maybe Germany is a better place to look, I even imported my last ICE car from Germany, was real easy to do.
