... I just wanted to say that I've finally joined your ranks. :p

I made a pretty sizable purchase for a car that I won't have for probably three more months. I'll post some pics when it arrives.

In the meantime, feel free to guess what I may have purchased. Winner gets a "Winner" rating on their post (duh).
edit: the rest of you will get some other rating.

All-season mats all around to keep the Pittsburgh out of the car?

Not a bad guess. But no.

I actually buy generic mats periodically when I come across good prices (below $15). If they last one or two seasons, then I feel I got my money's worth out of them. I have the following two sets sitting in my garage. I'll probably use them for the 3:

First Gen UMC, to get 40 amp charging from the NEMA 14-50 outlet that you will continue to use for your Leaf, since that ICE Tucson must find other accommodations.

    Tesla Car Cover ;)

Don't feel bad, I haven't even configured yet and already have a UMC wall holder, valve stem caps, pedal covers and the Aero wheel cap kit.

I'm right with you, @garsh . I figure if the invite floodgates are opening this week, lots of goodies will be going out of stock soon. I want things ready when my car arrives! In the last 12 hours I ordered a bunch of things from Tesla, RPM, eBay, and probably evannex and abstract ocean soon. Trying to make decisions on plate brackets, trunk mats, and more.

I did this with my last car too. Four years later and half of it still sitting in my basement never installed. :D

Metal foot pedals and a DIY center console 3M wrap kit?

(Well, that's what I've purchased before knowing a delivery date)

@garsh I think you you broke down and bought a staggered set of wheels on the assumption that the P will only come with 8.5s front and back, and that just won't be acceptable on a car of that caliber. (p.s. can we get pictures?)

I started out small with a wheel aero cap kit for my (then to be) 18's
Have since ordered a spare J1772 adapter for home so I can leave on in the car.
Having started using the trunk I'm just about to order a trunk floor mat.
Also thinking seriously about getting another UMC2 to replace my existing charger.

For your significant purchase I'm guessing either the 20" wheel kit or a winter wheel/tire combo

Ah! that was the other plate bracket I was trying to look for. I like that it's easily removable, but worried it will rip off if it comes in contact with a curb etc. Please share your experiences when you get it.

What I can tell you based on my current STO-N-SHO bracket going on 3-years is it's built to last!

I've scrapped it, bumped it, caught it on my shoe in the garage, and it's like new. The ONLY word of caution I have is to hit it with a shot of WD-40 or some grease once a year so the pin/spring doesn't lock up. Just the nature of metal in a 4-season environment w/ road salt.

    Warm...
    Warmer...
    A little generic, but correct.

I bought somebody's take-off set of Aero wheels. So they come with the Michelin Primacy MXM4 tires, but my long-term plan will be to replace them with winter tires and use these wheels for winter.
    :)

I was considering buying Tesla puddle lamps, but that would be silly, since I'm looking at least Christmas before I'll see delivery for an AWD M3.
