    If Model 3 has this amount on top of 35.000 USD, I'm going to have a pro$lem.

    @Gilberto Pe-Curto , if you mean VAT, that is unfortunately one of our EU realities... This is why I was recently expressing the hope that the forex rate will not add un unfavorable chunk of Euros to us. Our Canadian and other non-US friends have similar hopes evidently...

    Someone here told me that if you buy through a company you get the VAT back...
    Maybe I will negotiate that till then

    That is typically true in EU indeed, amigo. Professional buyers get to deduct the VAT. It is has to be some sort of a business or as self-employed. Check it out locally... don't know if I'll be able to do that, unless I set myself as a consultant after I retire... :)
