Good news, my French friends... Government decided to remove the €40k ceiling for the eligibility to the €6k incentive on the purchase of an EV... (to be noted Germany maintains a €60k cap on the price of the car - which led T≡SLA to recently introduce a 'bare to the bone MS 60 there).
May this be maintained for a couple of years until we get delivery of our long awaited Model ≡ as will definitely help with potential forex issue and/or open the door to some nice upgrades!!

More on (current) French government support to clean transport, thereby accelerating transition to EVs...
    - already, today, in addition to the €6,3k 'ecological bonus' for EVs, buyers can get an additional €3.7k 'conversion premium' if they remove from circulation at the same a 10+ yr. old diesel car...
    - in addition, free highway usage (i.e. no tolls) is being mooted as additional incentive for EVs! :)
Let's hope the new government, probably coming from the current opposition party & likely to take after the 2Q elections, stays on or reinforces this course! Note, this is not an expression of my political preferences, only available upon request via private message... :)

Now, this of course really makes my day!!
    Vive la République !! :D

Very encouraging news for those of us here who will be getting a car imported into Europe, with uncertainty on forex, duties and a VAT (value added tax) level of over 20%!
This could make the difference between getting the 75 vs. the 60 kWh battery and/or enabling the options I'd truly like (all glass if not std, 19'' NON Unique WC - ;) @ModFather - as well as EAP)!! Oh, this only makes my anticipated move even more compelling! :)
