Bollinger unveils new minimalist and badass-looking all-electric truck with up to 200 miles of range

Today, Bollinger Motors unveiled what it calls a “no nonsense back-to-basics all-electric sport utility truck (SUT).”

The minimalist-looking vehicle with sharp edges and bare interior will not be for everyone, but with a promised range of up to 200 miles and quite a few interesting features, it could check all the boxes of a lot of people looking to buy an EV that can go on and off road. more…

This Bollinger offering will appeal to some folks like Schwarzenegger. With a Cd of something like 200 it will ride like a Hummer. Let's see, where is the Hummer today?

    Don't be so shortsighted @ModFather.
We need all sorts of vehicles being offered as electric if we're going to convert people.

Not everybody likes granola tofu. :)

True that, but I would like to see a SUT that had some staying power.

California is like a box of granola, - full of fruits, nuts, and flakes. AND Vegan to boot!

this isn't even something that could be sold in the US under NHTSA regulations. How about a couple air bags and maybe a seatbelt or two?

My first thought was meh... looks like a truck made out of cardboard origami. Then it got interesting upon noticing a pass through to the frunk.

Are you really willing to take the huge hit to range just so you can have a truck full of right angles and rivets?

Ok, that is very cool AND useful.

    Thank you kindly.

But those are vehicles with 19-25 gal fuel tanks, not 4.

    Thank you kindly.

Fortunately, people are being given more choices for EVs on a daily basis!

For some, range will be important. For others, it's not.
I think an electric truck with boxy styling could be successful. That's all.

Now, all that said, this "prototype" doesn't even look like it's the least bit safe enough to drive on public roads. They need a lot more work to make this road-worthy.

Gotta admit, these boxy trucks look badass. I'd go for a Bollinger if they give me one for free. ;)
