    As previously reported, Tesla CEO Elon Musk was at the Gigafactory in Nevada yesterday for an investor event. The CEO reportedly discussed progress made at the battery plant and officially confirmed that Tesla plans to bring more than battery pack manufacturing to the plant.

    did you click thru to the article? the line directly after the quote was this:
    Keeping the Powder Dry is of course an idiom for ‘keeping ready for an action at a moment’s notice.’
    my first thought though was a skiing term... maybe I've just heard my boss talking about powder too much the last few weeks. fresh powder, dry powder, etc powder... it goes on and on. ha

    It was a 19th century expression referring to the fact if your gunpowder is damp when the enemy appears you are in big trouble.
