    Mr. Llewellyn seems to be overly gushing in his praise of this sometimes EV petrol burner.
    IMNVHO, hybrids are an unnecessary compromise.

    As an owner of plug-in Hybrids for 4 years, I agree. I hate it when the ICE kicks in. Pricing a nicely equipped I3 is a real shock! The moderate climate in the part of the UK where he lives is friendly to EVs with short ranges...Leaf, Ioniq, Zoe, EGolf etc. In the US these are city cars, at best. There is a market for city cars, of course. Plug-ins are a necessary evil for a few more years!
