    GM says Chevy Bolt EV owners have driven over 4,570,300 miles since launch

    GM’s production or delivery ramp up for the Chevy Bolt EV, its only all-electric vehicle built from the ground up, has been surprisingly slow since the launch in December.

    But for the few owners who received the vehicle, they have been getting a lot of use out of it. GM announced today that the 3,492 Bolt EV owners in the United States have driven 4,570,300 miles cumulatively. more…

    Interesting, because using the monthly sales chart from insideevs I've added up there would be 8,684 owned months worth of driving (December cars with 4 months, January 3 months, February 2 months and march 1 month). So... the average Bolt is driving half as much as the average American with just 526 miles a month.
    Assuming you only take your car out for five working days, that equals 26.3 miles per day. Even for a 'city car' that seems pretty low for the fleet average.
