I'm hoping they are just getting re-designed because I wanted that option in the Model 3. o_O

    Me too!
It gets kind of hot down here in the deep South in the summer. Can't handle the old biscuits burnin'. ;)

I have ventilated seats in my Lincoln and honestly I don't use them and wouldn't miss them but the heated function is something I can't live without!

Interesting that Tesla is "streamlining" options all over the place on the Model S but in my video where I suggested they could do the same with options on the Model 3 drew so much hatred in the comments…

The ventilated seats wouldn't be used as often as heated seats I guess but what an option! On those days when you are just cooking, a nice quick refresh on the seat would be just lovely.

After all the feedback from owners not feeling much ventilation in their ventilated seats, I wonder if they are doing some redesigning and it will make a comeback later

I didn't know the ventilated seats were having issues. Interesting.

Most all comments I've seen on them were the owner could hear a fan but not detect any air.
Also they suck air in, not blow out, so am sure that doesn't help the impression that they are making a difference.

Maybe there's something going on beyond the actual movement of air that is cooling, but not so much ventilated it would seem

I do believe ventilated seats are meant to suck and not blow. That being said, it doesn't appear to be doing much of anything. I can see the issue.
