    Evening everyone,

New to the world of EVs and also Tesla.

Since hearing about the model 3 and the now affordable price tag my interest has peaked.

I have now booked a test drive of a model s to see what it is like to drive an EV opposed to my current petrol powered car.

Any things i should try on the test drive or things to have a play around with?

    Adey

Welcome to the board and the community!

Tesla's are the most technologically advanced cars on the market so make sure you take the time to check out the digital interface (can't miss it) but be sure to try out autopilot. It's the gateway to Tesla's autonomous future on the Model 3

      Thanks for the welcome,

I do love the tech in the s and x and its a big point for me wanting to reserve the 3 (soon hopefully) but can't wait to try out the performance

Hopefully they let me open it up a little and experience that instant torque

Don't bother with the things you can fiddle with in the showroom - the screen/displays etc.

When you're in the car drive it and feel the differences. Stop/start acceleration. AP if you're interested.

Visibility, handling. Forgetting all the screens and battery/EV stuff, its an amazing car to just drive!

oh yeah i do intend to get a grips to how it is as a car

Cant wait to try out the performance and handling

No EV has really hit me as a car you can drive until i seriously started looking at the Tesla range

I know i won't be able to afford an S but surely it'll give me a good insight into how the 3 should be to drive
