    Hi
I am planing to install solar panels on my roof. Later on also I intend to add a powerwall 2.
Now I am wondering whether there is a smart wall charger that integrates well with the solar system.
The point is that the solar production, of course, is not at all constant. Therefore I would like to have the charger using as exactly as possible the excess of produced energy at any moment.

    Can anybody help here?
    I live in Switzerland, Europe
    Thanks
    Patrick

Because of net metering, when my solar array sends power back to the utility, it is being "stored" as an energy credit. A credit that I can use off peak to charge my car. This leverages my dollars (off peak cost half of daytime rates) and saves me the cost of battery storage.

A battery system would have the advantage of supplying during outages if it is designed that way.

Also useful in areas that don't have net metering.
