In the Tesla Related Podcasts thread, Ryan posted pictures of what appears to be a red Model 3 with 20" sport wheels. I find it hard to believe that Tesla would actually make the same wheel in two different sizes, but these pictures really do appear have wheels that are larger than the others we've seen.

First, here's a red Model 3 with 19" sport wheels:

Notice how close the rear wheels come to the side of the car.
Compare that to this photo that allegedly shows a red Model 3 with 20" sport wheels:

It looks to me like these might be like the alpha car wheels: 20" staggered.
Here's a picture of the silver alpha car with 20" staggered sport wheels, for comparison.

I'll be very excited if we're able to order these on First Production cars.
    Crossing my fingers!

Those look a little bigger, but it's really hard to tell. IMO, they are the same size wheels. The new midnight silver shots give a pretty good comparison. I really don't know, you might be right.

They sure look like 20" to me.

I went back and checked Ryan's post and the Reddit thread that he referenced. I'm not convinced these are 20s. In fact I would bet the car simply has SAS and since it's lowered the wheels look larger. With more wheel gap it gives the appearance of a taller tire and thus smaller rim.

I think my wife would prefer if you stopped adjusting my budget :)

Besides after that 19" sport wheels, I would want EAP but $5k more is just not going to happen right now.

Plus, the suspension geometry may result in the wheels being "pushed out" a little bit farther when the suspension is lowered.

Plus, it doesn't really make sense to create the same, exact style of wheel in two different sizes for OEM purposes. It's harder to see who paid the big bucks for the fancier wheels.

Yet... I'm still crossing my fingers.

That is a very good point. It's incredibly unlikely that they would produce identical wheels 1" apart in size.

OMG!!! Did you see the oil slick under the red M3 in the second picture? I thought my BMW was bad. Hope they correct this or I am going to have to reconsider:D

As someone who is currently driving Prius with 15', both 18 and 19 is good enough

Meh. Only good enough to be told I was a 'god'.
