Challenged by moderator so the post is gone. The NDA was not with Tesla so it wasn't an issue and it was only implied. Too bad "smart" people try to get all legal.
Let's just say that in my somewhat educated opinion and having been at facilities under construction and currently in use that the Model 3 rollout will likely be 60-90 day behind schedule. Translated? I bet the first Model 3's won't roll out until early 2018.

I'd bet your NDA also states revealing progress status, if in photos or not, it not permitted.

I have missed the apparently very controversial news.

    Please explain.

I'm confused. What is way behind and how do you know this?

Just a short seller trying to make a quick buck. No proof, won't swallow. Moderators can you change title to reflect one persons opinion.

Done. As @garsh said this is not what any of us wants to hear or read, and we prefer to go on hard facts rather than up to now unproven assertions... Up to now things seem to continue to be on track though it will certainly feel better to start seeing beta cars on the road and/or to get official company announcements... Keeping fingers crossed... :)

    Guys...

Tesla is often delayed and it would not surprise me if they were delayed with the 3 as well.

I have no proof or NDA nor do I benefit from such a delay..
In fact, I am LONG TSLA and have been for a while...

Just buy the dip, if and when it happens, and enjoy the car when it does show up.

I would prefer that Tesla experiment with it's own employees and make the experience refined by the time newbies to the EV cause get their cars... I would hate for folks to be turned off EVs because of Tesla's "hubris".

That being said, if they do hit expectations on deliveries, then it's good to have bought the stock earlier...

I would like to think that this time they would be on time.

    This time is different.

At least that's what I've been telling myself.

I try not to fool myself and priced my expectations on a delay...

Considering they seem to have rushed the X and we all know the challenges many early owners had. I would rather that they get it right even with a delay...

How could a 'delayed' product be 'rushed'?

I prefer the term 'deferred' to 'delayed' anyway.

    Don't worry about it.
