As I add new features to the site I will document them here March 4 2017: Moved the site to a dedicated server. Due to our growing needs we moved the site to a dedicated server. This will offer us better performance and the ability to scale to better handle future growth. Enhanced search function has been implemented to offer faster searches on the site. January 15 2017: PUSH NOTIFICATIONS!! We've implemented Push Notifications to any of your devices via pushover.net. Simply go to your account dashboard and click "External Accounts" and click on "Subscribe to Pushover". Doing this will allow you to create a free account at pushover.net You can set the alert preferences by clicking "Pushover Alert Types". Then visit https://pushover.net/clients and install the appropriate app for your device, sign in and that's it! December 31 2016: Added a Country field dropdown to the user profile. A small flag will then be displayed in the user profile so members can see the country you are from. August 27 2016: Added a new Calendar feature. Forum members can now attach a calendar date to a thread (not posts though) through the "Thread Tools" drop-down menu in a thread. This will attach the thread to the given calendar date that can be seen on the calendar system here: http://model3ownersclub.com/calendar/ A new "Weekly Digest" feature will send a weekly email to members with a list of popular threads and posts during the week. Handy if you missed something important. If you wish to unsubscribe from the feature click http://model3ownersclub.com/weeklydigest/manage/ while logged in to set your preferences. July 29 2016: Added a few hundred new Emojis to the full editor. July 21 2016: Added a new "Dark theme" to the site. Darker colours for easier reading at night. You can select the light or dark theme at the bottom of the website at any time. We will be tweaking the theme over the next few weeks to correct any issues and change hues to better suit nighttime viewing. Changed some settings to remove the sub-header links and reduced the main header height when scrolled down past 50pixels. This helps with smaller screens and phones. Typing text in reply boxes was tedious as we had to scroll up a bit to see the first line of typing. July 8 2016: Added a new thread thumbnail URL function. You can now specify a custom URL for the thread thumbnail. Normally the thumbnail is set based on the user Avatar who started it, then falls to the custom URL, then the first image in the post. July 5 2016: LIVE UPDATE feature. Registered members now have an new feature where threads are automatically updated with new posts, no need to refresh the screen! If you wish to disable this feature for a given thread deselect "Live Update" from the Thread Tools dropdown menu. July 5 2016: New Posts and Threads. Navigation bar now allows you to see new threads in addition to new posts. Have it your way! June 5 2016: Similar Threads. When creating a new thread the system will now display a matching list of possible existing threads. This will hopefully reduce the amount of duplicate threads and questions in our forums. June 5 2016: "My Threads" added. When viewing any forum you can click the link at the top left to see any threads you created in the same forum. Handy for keeping track of stuff you started. May 30 2016: "More threads by". When viewing a thread or user panel, you can now click on "More threads by" and see other threads created by the same user. April 28 2016: Change User name. Users can now change their user names any time they wish. April 28 2016: Media Gallery. Added a Media Gallery system for uploading of Model 3 images and linking to videos. "One stop shop" for mush media instead of burying them into threads. April 7 2016: Added FAQ Section. FAQ Section added for common questions about EVs. Please do not ask questions in here that we cannot answer (ie: questions about cancelling an order or problems with "My Tesla" accounts. We are not Tesla so we don't have any control of insight into their properties). April 5 2016: Added Donation function. In order to support our site with ongoing costs we've added a donation ability. This way we don't have to run ads on the site, and who likes ads anyway??
