This Model 3 came from an existing client who also has a blue MX that we did the same to.

Under 500 miles. Just came from Atlanta Protective Films where it received a "full front" paint protection film and tint (sides and one piece on the full rear glass GA legal 32%) from Executive tint at the same location.

Paint correction on remaining un-filmed panels. Swirls all around and more then a few areas had deep scratches like around the drivers door handle here:

I had to break out my "heavy hitter" compound on the trunk to safely remove some deeper scratches. So far from the three model 3s that I have put a paint gauge on, the 3 has approx 20-25% thicker paint (total base/clear) then the MX/MS.

I applied a long term ceramic coating to the film, paint and door jambs.

In the pictures with two Model 3s, the other is mine that just has a sealant for now. You might be able to see the deeper red appearance w/ the 3 on the right as facing from the paint correction and Ceramic Coating.

Very interesting.

You'd think that they would have updated the painting process for the S and X to match at this point.

So what is your recommended sequence for a new M3 owner? I know the first is to completely resist the urge to put a thousand miles on it day one. After that, would it be paint correction, film then coating, or can you put the film over a ceramic coating?

Film will hide/mask defects. So most of my clients get PPF (film) first and then depending on what level of PPF coverage they have done, I polish the remaining paint and then apply Ceramic Coating to all of the film and paint. PPF will not bond to the coatings I use, too slick.

According to your website, you use OptiCoat products for ceramic coatings. Do you offer any others? How do you think OptiCoat compares to the commonly-known competitors (CQuartz, Modesta, etc)

This black Model 3 was a bit of a mess. I found over 20 sanding marks from the factory. I did a full paint correction and applied a long term ceramic coating.

A few more 3s detailed and Ceramic Coating applied.

P3D in the house!

Second one delivered in GA.

I've known the client for a long time and he asked me to shake it down for him.

WOW WOW WOW! IMO the handling might be more impressive then the acceleration.

I'm in love with the white interior.

I hope mine gets here soon!!
