Production line Speed

    Im curious on something and i apologize for my ignorance on some of the things that im making assumptions on....

    Assuming that there is one assembly line that runs 24/7, at the end of the year they will be at 5000 a week produced. That means that every 2 minutes a finished car rolls off the line.

    But my actual question is, Does anyone know how long it will take, a 5k a week speed, for a car to be built from first frame piece to rolling off finished?

    That would be the coolest thing to start at the first station and litterally walk along the line and watch the car come together.

    Not sure at Fremont but Elon said their goal is for car production lines in the future to move at a fast walk pace. I have some ideas on how this is accomplished but don't have the time to write it down at the moment

    I've seen Model S posts saying it is about 2-4 days from start of fabrication until final testing is done. I would expect a good amount of that time is paint and testing.
