    I was just wondering.
If one pedal driving is a thing, and I can get most of my negative acceleration done by just releasing my foot, do the breaking lights light up? Or do they only when using the physical brakes?

My Suzuki bike had a relatively strong engine braking effect, and I always wondered if that would be a problem for the cars behind me on highways / high speeds, because they would notice me decelerating with a delay.

I'm sure you guys know :)

As Melinda stated, the brake lights are triggered. It occurs at a certain deceleration threshold.
