So wouldn't that be something! Waddya think?
The fanboy in me says... wow that would be awesome!
The realist in me says... the Freemont factory is out of space and they have 500,000 Model 3 battery packs to make.
It's not likely.
May be in 2019. Maybe someday the car will just show up on its own.
Respectfully, I think that has as much chance of happening in the next 5 years as Space X delivering your vehicle.
I agree with @dudeman , I think it is much more likely that FSD will deliver your car to your front door and within the next 5 years. That is a much more exciting concept than an electric truck delivering your car and really speaks to the future.
I agree with you and I think this is where we end up. You buy the car online or in a design studio and magically one day it appears on your driveway presenting itself.
I'm sure that's still year's away, but talk about wow factor!
Yea, one day I will task my car to do grocery (or beer) shopping for me. It will go on its own and bring stuff back to me. That would be cool.
Dude, that is not as far fetched as you might think. Place your "grocery" order over the Internet at your local supermarket. Send your car over to pick up the order (it will be ready by the time the car arrives). They place your six pack, I mean "items", in the car and the car returns dutifully back to your garage. I honestly think that will happen in my lifetime, which means "soon."
Agree. Car will be capable of doing this soon.
On the second thought, I will let the drone deliver it for me and let my car get charged while sun bathing.
