This is the current "make a reservation" model 3 page:
https://www.tesla.com/model3

I was trying to see if a configurator is available yet, so I just modified the Model S configuration page by changing the S to a 3. I'm not sure what's going on here. It looks like the either the mobile version of the above page, or just a messed-up version:
https://www.tesla.com/model3/design

That's all I got right now. I think the last time I tried this, it had redirected to https://www.tesla.com/model3. So something changed.

This is already up (at least) since the release of the new model s build page but I'm also looking over the sourcecode of teslas pages around once a week and wasn't able to detect anything special the last few weeks (but maybe I'm not good in code review ;) ).

Last week when I tried it redirected me to Model S configurator. Now it redirected back to the Tesla homepage ...

So you are getting redirected to the Tesla main page or the broken model 3 page? Because the redirection to the main page would be new afaik.

Actually to clarify...

On my iPhone I am redirected back to the homepage.

On my MacBook I am redirected to the configurator landing page... pick Model S or X.

Wow, I would never have thought of that! :)
Ah I see. Are you sure you picked the url posted above
https://www.tesla.com/model3/design and not https://www.tesla.com/build/model3 because the first URL directs you to the broken page while the second url brings you to the main configurator page.
You guys are sooooo smart... ;)

Periodically I go through their source code, and poke at their data model. There are changes periodically to their source, but nothing of interest lately...

Unless you count this SVG buried in the code:

As noted in the other thread, they used to sell a Model S 70D.

I can't believe the website still only has the pictures of the prototype.

At this point, I wouldn't expect that to change until after the delivery event.
