    In this video, I saw the ceiling of the trunk for the first time (around minute 4). Is this just a mesh screen so the trunk is climate controlled with the rest of the car? Is it like that in the MS too?

    it is a screen, this was addressed in this thread.
    the Model S is a hatchback, so totally different than the setup of the Model 3.

    Model S doesn't have that. It's a trunk vent on the Model 3, nothing more

    The large vent allows the subwoofer in the trunk to be much more effective. No need for that in the Model S as it doesn't have a sealed off trunk.
