Curious if any owners/reservation holders have gone ahead and got any of the accessories available at the Tesla Shop...

All-weather frunk/trunk inserts: check, but looks like they don't offer all-weather floor mats?!?

    Sunshade: check.

Phone charger: comes with 1 lightning and 1 micro-USB, is that correct? So I'll need a 2nd lightning.

Undecided on the tire repair kit and the roadside safety kit...

Oh yeah, meant to ask: does the car come with a J1772 charging adaptor??

I have gone with the frunk and trunk mats (Tesla), front and back all weather floor mats (Toughpro temporarily until Tesla offers their’s/Weathertech), sunshade (Tesla), tire valve caps, lugnut covers and inserts for Aero wheels (T-Sportline), tire repair kit (Tesla), rear bumper appliqué (RPM Tesla), puddle lights (RPM Tesla), LED replacement lights (Abstract Ocean), lightning cable (Tesla), Wall Connector (Tesla). I’m probably forgetting something!

I think I’m covered for now, especially since I don’t have a Model 3 yet (configured 1-24, no VIN yet)!

In fact, I wound up ordering 2 sets of mats accidentally, so I gave a set to my neighbor who has already received his 3.

I’ll be getting an eclipse sun shade. I’ve had one for each of my last 3 cars and I think they’re the best. The one in my current car has lasted 13 years!

Since OP mentioned these are items ordered from the "Tesla Shop", it's likely this roof sunshade:
    https://shop.tesla.com/us/en/produc...ont-glass-roof-sunshade.html?sku=1135832-00-A

From your link, it appears you're looking for a windshield sunshade? If so, Heatshield has a custom-fit version for the Model 3:
    https://www.heatshieldstore.com/

I've used one of theirs on my Prius for almost 17 years and it has held up.

I have bought a few items...
    1. Front and Rear Trunk Mats from Tesla
    2. 6-50 Adapter for the new UMC from Tesla (for $35 gotta get it in case my home charger ever fries like my last one did and have to switch to the UMC)
    3. Valve Caps Red Rocket shaped :)
    4. the Tesla T lights from Abstract Ocean
    5. Made a kit with an off the shelf Tire inflator with Sealant, Flashlight, First Aid, and Tire Repair Kit
    6. Weather Tech says they are working on all weather mats for the inside, so will buy the WM special until then
    EDIT:
    7. Qi Charger just like @SoFlaModel3 and @GoKingsGo

No sunshades — PITA to store it after you get in the car. Since you can pre-cool the car it’s somewhat irrelevant. Also no extra lightning cable for charging since I installed Qi chargers!

Are there any estimates on how much of a mileage hit pre-cooling will cause, especially in someplace like South Florida?

How will that fit? Won’t it keep moving and not charging? I saw this a while back. Not sure if it’s any good or even real.

Good question, I’ll pay closer attention on Monday after work. I’ll check range, pre-cool from ~110F to 62F and then report back on range again.

We have a thread going on it here: https://model3ownersclub.com/threads/diy-qi-dual-chargers.6027/#post-76020

That’s going directly to my install, but if you read further down to here I made an adjustment: https://model3ownersclub.com/threads/diy-qi-dual-chargers.6027/page-2#post-76414

I have it held in place with 3M painters tape and it doesn’t budge. It’s helped by the mat’s anti-skid coating as well and then the phone doesn’t move since the Qi Pad also has anti-skid coating. I’m really happy with this solution!

Total spend $39.98 and available with free 2 day Amazon Prime shipping. Tesla Wireless Pad is $100 for “slow charge” and $TBD for “fast charge” and isn’t available until April. Also, not sure how they’ll handle fast charge as the 12V is in a different cubby. Don’t get me wrong their solution looks very nice/clean, but I saved $60+ and got something ASAP.

Surprised the model 3 accessories, mostly all weather floor mats, seem to be so limited.

Anyone have recommendations for seat back covers so kids are kicking the seat directly?

I’ll likely go with 1 thin qi charger mentioned here temporarily, but still tempted by the aesthetics of the teslawirelesspad.

Any one have a recommendation for some thing to put in the back seat for a dog? I would like to keep my dog’s hair off of my new car (when I get it) ;)

Agree the standard ones are a PITA. But once you try the retractable ones, that's another story!
